Heavy encrusted, dense swaths of oil paint, enamel and blots

Bolts of Blue is another exploration of the linguistic limitations of definitions ­– in this case, that of a painting as a flat, inert, two-dimensional object that hangs on a (singular) wall. Bolts of Blue’s lateral force holds the horizontal sections aloft.
