Submission to the World Trade Center Memorial Competition [PDF].

After 9/11, the World Trade Center announced a competition for a new Memorial at the site of the tragedy. Attached is Mary Sherman proposal, in collaboration with the architect Sergio Vasquez. The proposal included two reflecting pools at the former footprint of the towers and a structure that would incorporate a set of tiles, created by artists around the world for TransCultural Exchange’s The Tile Project, Destination: The World.
