In 2022, Mary Sherman was approached by the general manager of Boston Neighborhood Network Media, Glenn Williams to create an arts program for BNN. Realizing that TransCultural Exchange’s 2022 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts: Create the Future was such a rare convening of over 150 international art program representatives and that it would be a shame not to capture their presentations for wide-spread distribution, Mary agreed to produce a monthly arts program for BNN. She, thus, arranged to interview many of 2022 Conference speakers during the Conference, set up more interviews afterwards and collected additional footage to create TCE TV.  Now, going on three seasons, she continues to serve as the show’s producer, director and script writer.

Today, TCE is broadcast on more than two dozen stations across the U.S., reaching over 864,700 households. Mary credits much of the show’s success to its outstanding guests, the show’s soundtrack by Benoit Granier, design help from Siyi Wang and – most importantly – the show’s remarkable camera operator and editor and – now, staring with Season 3 – host, Janelle Giuliani.
